     the festivities were held in a quaint and perfect city garden, on one of the hottest day of the year.
two sweet cousins celebrating their first year, together!

     it was such a fun occasion--gumballs and butterflies for all.

wheaton newborn photography: the multinational babe

when working with families on setting up a newborn baby session, it's fun to incorporate special items that provide additional context to the baby's narrative.

   last week I had the pleasure of photographing this perfectly gorgeous little man on his sixth day.

as a tribute to the history and culture of his family, mommy had the great idea of photographing him
  with their family's national flags: south africa for daddy, and scotland for grandpa.

the graphic nature and bright colors of the flags provided a stunning backdrop to feature his little frame.
